After arriving into Gare du Nord station late on the Friday evening, they awoke bright and early on Saturday morning ready for a day of singing.
The concert on Saturday took place in the American Cathedral in Paris, just off from the Champs-Élysées, under the baton of French conductor Evan Logett-Raymond; Camerata were joined by a handful of Evann’s esteemed ensemble Vox 21 to perform Maurice Duruflé’s iconic Requiem.
Following their successful performance, they enjoyed a group dinner, before a wander home along the Seine via Notre Dame. The Sunday brought sightseeing, beginning with a trip to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, followed by a quick stop by the Eiffel Tower.
The trip was a successful weekend of choral singing and sightseeing, as well as a highly enjoyable inaugural tour for the joint Camerata Choir.
