The response was overwhelming, with young artists channelling their skills and creativity into powerful pieces that celebrated figures such as Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou, Martin Luther King Jr, and Guy Bluford, among many others. The submitted artworks reflected an impressive range of talent and creativity. From painted portraits and carefully detailed drawings, to bold digital interpretations, each piece showcased the unique perspective of the young artist behind it, honouring the legacy and impact of these trailblazing individuals.
The pieces not only captured likenesses but also expressed the values and accomplishments of each icon, embodying resilience, courage, and inspiration.

A special exhibition has been set up outside the school library to showcase all the entries, transforming the space into a gallery that celebrates both history and art. This display allows the entire school community to explore, learn, and be inspired by these artistic tributes. Pupils and staff are encouraged to visit the exhibition, reflect on the contributions of these important figures, and celebrate the talent within our school.
