Yesterday, a group of Fourth Form pupils took part in the regional heats of the RSC Top of the Bench chemistry competition. Daniel, George , Michael and Henry were assessed on their practical skills as well as their general knowledge of Chemistry. They were even asked some A-Level standard topics, of which the team were able to answer in their stride.
This was the first year that the school has taken part in the competition, and out of 16 schools, they came a close second, just behind the host school, St Paul’s! Congratualtions to the team.
