Under the direction of Director of Music, Mr Quesnel, the choir performed a carefully curated programme featuring works by Edward C. Brewer, Anton Bruckner, and 17th-century composer William Smith.
For most of the pupils, it was a night of firsts—both their debut performance in the magnificent cathedral and their inaugural experience singing a traditional Evensong service. The historic setting and ethereal acoustics provided a breathtaking backdrop for the choir’s soaring harmonies.
The event drew an impressive turnout of parents, whose presence added to the celebratory atmosphere. Their support, combined with the choir’s moving performance, made for an unforgettable evening of music and reflection in one of London’s most treasured landmarks.
