The Charity Committee has worked tirelessly to drive events and initiatives that not only raised donations but also boosted awareness of this vital cause.
Highlights of the year included a half-marathon run by the Senior Prefect Team (with little to no training!), a 24-hour challenge to visit every football stadium in London, and the lively ‘Monopoly Walk’, where First Form pupils visited every location on the iconic London Monopoly board.
Whole-school events were equally ambitious: the 24-hour non-stop rowathon and the Sponsored Walk, which saw every pupil from CLS and CLSG walking more than 10 miles from Hampton Court to Richmond Green.
Alongside these large-scale efforts, the fundraising total was significantly boosted by outstanding individual contributions. Pupils and staff organised bake and pizza sales, concerts, non-uniform days, and a World Book Day celebration with each event adding to the collective spirit of generosity.
Through these efforts, the CLS community has raised a fantastic £91,887.98 for The Felix Project, supporting their mission to deliver nutritious food to thousands of Londoners in need.
We are so proud of our pupils for their compassion, creativity, and commitment to making a difference and thank you to everyone who donated not only their money but their time to this cause.
