First Orchestra performed Hebrides Overture by Felix Mendelssohn while Second Orchestra played an arrangement of the Minuet, Trio and Polonaise from Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto; both conducted by Miss Jones.
Chamber Orchestra, Junior Strings, Senior Brass and Folk Group also took part, Â as did the winner of the CLS Young Musician of the Year, Yipeng, who performed Elegy no.4 Turandots Frauengemach by Busoni on the Steinway piano.
