Last Wednesday, our CCF annual inspection went off without a hitch. The day began with Year 10 RAF section cadets demonstrating their skills and project work to the inspecting officer before forming up in the courtyard for the main parade. These projects varied from the study of drone warfare, evaluations of asymmetric warfare and research into how aircraft fly.
Following the salute, cadets were inspected by the Head, Wing Commander Duddy and Captain Gabuja. The March Past swiftly followed, where cadets marched around the courtyard to the music provided by the CCF band who put together an incredible repertoire including the James Bond theme and the Thunderbirds theme.
We were incredibly fortunate this year to have guests including several Old Citizens and the Chairwoman of the War Widows Association
Cadets then moved to the Great Hall for speeches from the senior cadets and officers which was then followed by a prize-giving.
