Chamber Choir Performs at St Paul’s Cathedral for Mothers’ Union Festival

Last week, the combined Chamber Choir from CLS and City of London School for Girls (CLSG) delivered a stunning performance at St Paul’s Cathedral, as part of a special Festival Eucharist for the Mothers’ Union charity

The choir, made up of around 30 talented pupils from both schools, sang under the magnificent dome of the cathedral, performing works by celebrated composers John Rutter and Harold Friedell. Their performance added a moving musical dimension to the occasion, which celebrated the work and mission of the Mothers’ Union.

The ensemble was conducted jointly by Mr Quesnel, Director of Music, and Mr Will Bruce, Artistic Director of Choral Partnerships at the Cathedral.

The event marked a memorable collaboration between the schools and one of London’s most iconic venues, offering pupils the chance to perform in a space renowned for its musical and spiritual significance.
