The online preliminary heat took place in March, where Casi excelled and advanced to the National Final, securing a place among the top eight contestants at the advanced level.
Earlier this week, Casimir took the stage for the final round and delivered an impressive speech on the topic of ‘Chinese divorce rates’. Demonstrating excellent language skills and cultural insight, he spoke with clarity and confidence. He impressed the judges with his well structured responses during the questioning session, accurate translation, and an impromptu speech.
His achievement in such a competitive national event reflects both his dedication and the strength of our language programme here at CLS.
