During the Easter break, the inaugural joint FIRST robotics team from City of London School (CLS) and City of London School for Girls (CLSG) delivered a remarkable performance in the FIRST Robotics Competition, securing first place overall at the regional finals and qualifying for the National Finals.

Now competing at the prestigious National Finals at the Copper Box Arena, the team continues to break new ground. They have already distinguished themselves as the only team in FIRST Robotics Competition history to reach the national finals in their very first year, earning the highest possible Inspire Award along the way, surpassing even a previous world finalist team.

As the two-day finals unfold, the CLS and CLSG team will be aiming to build on their success and secure a place at the World Finals.

The team. consisting of pupils Aryan, Ruihan, Joe, Sayujya, Manraj, Amitai, William and Mark, represents a powerful example of collaboration, innovation and determination, setting a new benchmark for what can be achieved in a debut season.
