The annual competition, run by the John Locke Institute, invites pupils from around the globe to explore challenging questions in subjects ranging from Philosophy and Politics to Economics and History. This year’s competition attracted more than 63,000 entries from over 190 countries, judged by academics from leading universities including Oxford, Harvard and Princeton.
In the Junior Category, Frederick received a ‘Very High Commendation’ award for his essay – the highest distinction below the top three global winners. This remarkable achievement places him among the top handful of entrants worldwide.
Fellow pupil Shawn also received a ‘Very High Commendation’ award, an honour given to only a small number of entrants in each category, reflecting exceptional analytical skill and originality.
Both pupils’ recognition reflects the School’s ongoing commitment to scholarship, curiosity and independent thinking.
