The exhibition was a vibrant showcase of work from GCSE Fine Art and GCSE Three-Dimensional Design pupils, with an impressive exhibit of A-Level Year 13 projects, as well as a selection of artworks from pupils in years 7 to 9. This year’s display was held in both the Concourse and the Art Department, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere for all attendees.

The standard of work on display was, as always, exceptional. The range of work and media was outstanding, featuring everything from large-scale paintings to an art deco-inspired dress with pewter cast detailing, and an intricate Japanese-influenced ceramic tea set. This variety highlighted the breadth of talent and creativity nurtured within the school’s Art department.

Staff, friends, and family enjoyed the evening as they walked around the exhibition, they had the opportunity to ask questions of the budding artists and designers, gaining insight into the inspiration and techniques behind their works. The exhibition was a fantastic celebration of the pupils’ achievements and offered younger artists a glimpse of what they can aspire to in the future. As Mr. Beresford-Zahra, Head of Art put it,

“The creativity and talent showcased this year truly reflect the hard work and passion of our pupils’. It’s been a joy to see their progress and to celebrate their achievements with the whole school community.”

Congratulations to everyone involved, and thanks to Mr Beresford-Zahra for leading and organising a stunning show.

We look forward to seeing what next year’s exhibition will bring!
