Sixth Form pupil's show jumping success

Thursday, 07 October 2021

Junior Sixth Form pupil, Elias, has the incredible ambition to become a part of the Great Britain Equestrian team by the time he is 25. With the support of his coach and his family, Elias has been making significant strides to achieving this goal.

On Wednesday afternoons during Games, Elias travels to Uden Sport Horses in Surrey to train in his main discipline - show-jumping. He is now competing in National competitions every weekend, and over the course of the last few months, has seen the impact of his hard work. In August, Elias came second in the 1.15m Grand Prix at the London Global Championships, and the following month took victory in the 1.15m National Members Cup Qualifier at Parwood Equestrian Centre.

At the end of September, Elias progressed in the Nationals and is now waiting to compete in the Second Round of the competition. Elias competes with two horses, Castle B Quick and Major Delacour, both of which he has had great success with.

We look forward to seeing Elias continue on his journey to Team GB and are supporting him every step of the way!
