Sixth Former chosen to represent England in Karate

It is a lovely School tradition that the President of the JCC is invited in to award International Honours Ties. This week he awarded such a tie to Sasha in the Senior Sixth - he has recently been selected to represent England in Karate.

Sasha has already achieved a great deal in the sport including 2 Bronze medals in the British National Championships for both Kumite (fighting) and Kata (sequence). He started Karate aged 7, has been a black belt for 2 years and will be grading for 2nd Dan next year.

Needless to say, his success is rooted in an incredible amount of hard work training three times during the week and on Sundays. Many congratulations to Sasha.
