Fourth Form Geography Field Trip to Cambridge

Friday, 12 January 2018

The academically inspiring city of Cambridge was the backdrop to the Geography Department’s first trip of 2018. The day saw the Fourth Form geographers venture to Cambridge to investigate how the land use and environmental quality can change across the city centre. The huge data set that the boys collected that would help to prepare them for the ‘Alternative to Coursework’ paper, while also enabling them to apply the concepts learnt in class to a real world example. Plenty of focused and independent work was shown throughout the day – the boys were again, a real credit to themselves and the School.

The aim of the day was to investigate how the land use and environmental quality can change across the city centre.
