Prize for pupil in Fourth Plinth Schools Awards
Second Former, Sasha, has won a prize at this year's Fourth Plinth School Awards. Each year, students are invited to design what they would like to see on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. There were over 3,500 entries this year across all of the London boroughs. 33 pupils were selected for prizes and Sasha was the winner of his borough with his piece entitled 'Breaking Chains of Self Doubt'.
The Awards ceremony took place at City Hall for the winners and runners up with prizes from Cass Art. The awards were presented by this year's judge, renowned artist, Gillian Wearing.
The Turner Prize winners of the future are on display at City Hall until 28 June. The exhibition will then move to CASS Art in Islington.
Well done to Sasha and everyone involved in this superb achievement.
