Class of '79, ’84, ’89 and ‘94 reunion at CLS

Wednesday, 02 October 2019

The Development and Alumni Relations Team were delighted to welcome back City of London School alumni for their milestone reunions on 26 September 2019.

Alumni from the Class of ‘79, ’84, ’89 and ‘94 celebrated 40, 35, 30 and 25 years since becoming Old Citizens, with drinks in the Library and a delicious dinner on the Concourse with views of the river and St Paul’s.

Alumni had great fun spotting themselves in old School photos and popular guests included their former teachers Mr Knight, Mr Laidlaw, Mr Allwright, Mr Rose and Mr Hubbard. One table of Old Citizens even called an old classmate in Australia to say hello and show him what he was missing out on.

A super evening, so say our alumni;

“Thanks to all at CLS for organising what was a really great evening. It reminded me of how privileged we were to attend CLS. Seeing old friends for the first time in 25 years was exhilarating. Looking forward to the next one!” Robert Lazarus (OC 1994)

The Alumni Team is already busy planning reunions in 2020 for OCs who left School as far back at 1950 right up to 2015. It really is a lifelong relationship!
