Sixth Former wins award for COVID-19 tech challenge

Sixth Form pupil, David, has won the Sixth Form prize in a worldwide competition to conceive and pitch a technology solution to mitigate the economic, social and/or medical impacts of COVID-19. After coming to the competition late, David faced having to complete the project by himself, without any teammates In spite of all this, David's was one of just three projects chosen to win.

His submission was 'HomeMade', a recipe app that minimizes supermarket trips by encouraging more efficient use of ingredients whilst in isolation.
