Pupils and staff donate and design PPE for the NHS
Here at CLS, we've been finding ways to help our wider London community during this unprecedented time.
One of the things the Head implored the boys to do over the Easter break was to think about how they make might make a positive contribution to society. Sixth Form pupil, Alex, has been working alongside his brother using 3D printers to make face visors for the NHS. They've already had hundreds of orders, with more coming in each day. You can read more about their project here.
Our science and design technology departments have been busy collating any spare PPE to donate to local hospitals. We arranged for St Barts and Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals, along with a local care home, to take safety masks, safety glasses and disposable gloves.
We are extremely proud of how the whole school community is coming together and helping others during this difficult time.
