Sixth Form pupil publishes book to raise funds for doctors
Sixth Form pupil, Isaac, has self-published his first book - a collection of images and sketches. The book is untitled and is 33 individual pieces, forming are a cohesive collection of social commentary, with a focus on unity and strength. Repeating images of people, groups and families fill the book, emphasising unity over division, especially important in times like these.
The pieces in the book also touch on religious aspects, identity and camaraderie. Isaac made the book as a project to do during the Easter holiday, but also as an exhibition of sorts, in the form of a book, to share and showcase his work in ways it hasn't been done before.
The images were made using magazine cut-outs and traditional collage techniques, digitally, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and the book was then designed and formatted on Adobe InDesign. Isaac is selling the book on his website which you can find here and sales from the book will go to MSF (Doctors Without Borders).
Well done Isaac.
