The mood at School last week was a reflective one, as we held our Remembrance assembly.
Head, Alan Bird, and our Head Boy, Louis led the assembly and spoke about what Remembrance Day means and why we should never forget. It is normally a day where the CLS community comes together to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women during times of conflict. This year looked a little different as our assembly was shown virtually, but the sentiment remained the same and all pupils and staff watched at the same time.
The assembly was followed by the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial and a two-minute silence held today at 11am.
Thank you to everyone involved.
