Sixth Form pupil passes RCO Diploma

Wednesday, 10 March 2021

We are delighted to share that Sixth Form pupil, John, has passed all the relevant papers in organ playing, keyboard skills, techniques of composition, aural tests, history, and analysis, and is now an Associate of the Royal College of Organists.

This means he is entitled to the postnominals ARCO. The RCO diplomas are incredibly hard, and fewer and fewer people are attempting them whilst still at school.

The fact that John has done so, during lockdown, and in the middle of so many academic commitments is a testament to his extraordinary focus and self-possession.

Many congratulations John.
