CLS Students visit BETT
Recently, ten students and ICT teacher Ms MacDonagh were invited to the BETT Technology Show to assist in the launch of the new Beacon teaching materials by the British Computer Society. During the day, the students demonstrated three Computing activities that involved code cracking, pixel programmes and writing musical algorithms.
Between demonstrations, the students also had a chance to visit other exhibits such as Microsoft Maker, Drone demonstrations and attend a virtual classroom using VR equipment. The day flew by and the students left BETT with loads of IT and Computing ideas and a goody bag.
