This happened in two parts: in the morning, organists from both CLS and CLSG were invited to St Lawrence Jewry church to take part in a lunchtime recital presented by the Royal College of Organists.
Pupils were able to play a range of repertoire from Bach to Mendelssohn on the impressive German organ in the beautiful acoustic of this iconic Wren church.

The latter half of the day consisted of a workshop on advanced keyboard skills with Mr Allery, down the road in St Mary le Bow church, where pupils developed their skills in preparation for upcoming Oxbridge organ trials.
Both events made for a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding day, giving pupils the opportunity to explore a small selection of the numerous organs within the City’s square mile.
