The event brought together sustainability professionals and City organisations to explore how London can respond to the environmental challenges ahead. Our pupils were invited to showcase the projects they are leading at CLS to promote sustainability and strengthen environmental awareness across the School community.
During the day, they took part in specialist talks covering a wide range of current environmental issues, including how buildings can be adapted to withstand climate impacts, the increasing flood and health risks posed by climate change in London, and the resilience of global food supply chains.
For our Eco‑Schools representatives, it was a valuable chance to see how the ideas they discuss in School translate into real‑world policy, research and professional practice. They also had the chance to meet and learn from experts working at the forefront of climate action in the Square Mile.
A fantastic experience all round and a meaningful reminder of the impact young people can have in shaping a more sustainable future.
