Last week, pupils and staff from City of London School and City of London School for Girls came together for one of the highlights of the school year: the annual Sponsored Walk along the Thames Path from Hampton to Kew.
With beautiful weather, stunning riverside views and plenty of opportunities for conversation along the way, the walk provided a welcome break from screens, inboxes and the pace of everyday school life. Pupils and colleagues from across both schools spent the day enjoying the route together, building connections and raising money for an important cause.
The Sponsored Walk forms part of this year’s School Charity Campaign in support of A21, an organisation dedicated to combating modern slavery and human trafficking. Coming just days after the school’s successful 24-hour Sponsored Row, the event was another powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when pupils channel their energy and enthusiasm into supporting others.
Our thanks go to everyone who took part, donated, encouraged and supported the day. Together, our school communities have once again shown the power of collective effort in making a difference.
