His panel discussion, “How Does the Youth View Climate Change?”, was well-received, earning appreciation from the audience. Sharing the stage with a CLS alumnus and other university pupils, Ishaan was the youngest panel member, engaging in a 40-minute discussion on youth perspectives on climate change.
Thanks to extensive preparation and dedication, the panel Ishaan spoke on was honoured with the Young Innovator’s Award by Quantamfai’s Davos Innovation Week.
“It was an incredible experience to contribute to such an important conversation.”
One of the highlights of Ishaan’s time in Davos was the “A Sustainable Future: ESG & SDG Insights” panel. The session focused on integrating sustainability into business strategies, achieving measurable Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and overcoming Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation challenges.
Beyond his contributions to the panel, Ishaan’s personal efforts in environmental conservation were recognized by Philip J. Weights, Co-President of the Swiss FinTech Association (SFTA). Weights praised Ishaan’s initiative of planting 10,000 trees under his ‘ecoedus’ project, an achievement that played a pivotal role in his invitation to Davos. He is a valued member of the CLS eco-society and is already working on his next sustainable initiative.
Congratulations Ishaan!
