Royston Isaacs

1933 – 2017

Royston Isaacs attended the School from 1944 until 1951, he was brought up in Highgate travelling by train to Blackfriars.

From School, Royston went on to university to study Pharmacy at Chelsea School of Pharmacy, London. Once qualified he worked and travelled with his Pharmacy degree working in many chemists throughout London and the Home Counties as well as in Jersey before settling and purchasing Hogg and Son Chemists on the Hyde Park Estate, London. He was recognised by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society for his over 60 years of service.

Royston was a keen supporter of the John Carpenter Club and he particularly enjoyed attending the annual dinners at the Mansion House and School.

Royston became a Freeman of the City of London, taking Livery of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries. He had a passion for watching cricket and was privileged to be a member of the MCC and attended many games at his local cricket ground Lords.

Royston is survived by his loving wife Pamela, being married for over 53 years, along with their two children Andrew and Julia and two granddaughters.
