Careers and Networking

We are very grateful to the growing number of Old Citizens who are supporting careers at CLS by providing work placements, employer visits, speaking at careers events or offering advice and support as a mentor.

There are a number of ways you can support us:

Higher Education Fair
4 March 2019
4.30pm to 6pm

This event starts the university process for Junior Sixth pupils and their parents. The session covers the intricacies of the process, and how the School supports pupils, but it is also a chance to inform them about trends in Higher Education and graduate recruitment, to help inform their choices.
We want our pupils to hear from Old Citizens about their own university journey, how they got into their careers and what they look for as they interview young graduates.

Do you regularly interview and employ new graduates? Can you share with our pupils what you are looking for? How important is it to have postgraduate qualifications, how much attention do you give to the university a graduate attended? What subjects are you looking for or does the subject not really matter?

If you are willing to take part in a panel discussion to share your insights please get in touch at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
