Did you know?

Last year more than 345 Old Citizens came back to school for reunions and events. We would love to see you too!

Our pupils face an ever-changing world ahead in which the jobs we are preparing them for do not yet exist.

Alan Bird - Head

Learning Support

CLS pupils are supported by a skilled multi-disciplinary team of specialist teachers and assessors throughout their education. Our Learning Support department work tirelessly to build an environment where all pupils can thrive as confident and independent members of our community.

We celebrate neurodiversity and embrace the positive impacts that these varying perspectives bring to the wider school community. We have expertise in a wide range of neuro-divergent profiles, including specific learning difficulties, social communication differences and behavioural challenges.

Our goal is to support pupils to reach their full potential from the moment they apply to CLS through to transitioning into Further Education.
Andrea Di Stefano, Head of Learning Support

All pupils with a professionally diagnosed need will have the opportunity to engage with a Learning Support teacher regularly throughout their education at CLS.
