A notable feature of co-curricular provision at City of London School is the extensive educational visits programme.

Our location is a huge advantage with the School benefiting from is its proximity to so many interesting places – a trip to Tate Modern or Shakespeare’s Globe is a three-minute walk across one of the most iconic bridges in the world! Conscious of sustainability, CLS takes full advantage of what the UK has to offer, ensures pupils have encounters with the natural world and uses public transport wherever possible.

At the same time, where there are clear educational benefits, an annual programme of overseas trips exists to help pupils learn about the world and broaden their cultural understanding. Educational visits play a significant role in personal development and often generate memories for a lifetime.

In a typical year over 200 educational visits take place, many of which are residential. It’s thanks to this diverse program of trips and visits that CLS makes its pupils so world-wise – truly global Citizens.
