Did you know?

Last year more than 345 Old Citizens came back to school for reunions and events. We would love to see you too!

Our pupils face an ever-changing world ahead in which the jobs we are preparing them for do not yet exist.

Partnership with City of London School for Girls

One of the defining features of Sixth Form life at CLS is our close partnership with City of London School for Girls (CLSG). Through shared academic enrichment, co-curricular activities and social opportunities, pupils benefit from a broad and vibrant cross-school community.

Shared opportunities through CityPlus

CityPlus is an enrichment programme for Sixth Form pupils in partnership with City of London School for Girls (CLSG). The programme aims to broadens pupils’ skills through a range of speakers, workshops and seminar sessions. Pupils can choose from one of over 30 short courses designed and taught by a team of teachers from both schools; an important opportunity to broaden their horizons, make new friends and have a little relief from their A-Level subjects once a week.

Shared Sixth Form Centre

From 2028, our partnership with CLSG will enter an exciting new phase with the opening of a shared Sixth Form Centre, which will complement our existing Sixth Form facilities at Queen Victoria Street.

Located in the heart of the city, and at walking distance from both schools, the new Centre will bring Sixth Form pupils together in a shared environment designed to foster and build meaningful co-educational academic and co-curricular experiences and, of course, long-lasting friendships.

Music and drama

Music, drama, art and design flourish through ensembles, choirs, productions, exhibitions and specialist teaching, with many opportunities enhanced through our partnership with CLSG. Together, pupils from both schools perform, create and compete at every level, from beginner to national competition.
