January saw the final university applications wing their way to UCAS, and our Senior Sixth Form pupils are waiting patiently as university offers now come in.

The term has started positively, as 31 pupils celebrated the receipt of offers from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

It has been wonderful to see pupils applying for such a wide range of courses: from English, Mathematics, Medicine and Engineering, to Film & Media Production and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence.

Interest in studying overseas has also continued to grow, and we congratulate pupils who are already in receipt of offers from Harvard, Northwestern, Howard, Purdue, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Michigan, Hong Kong University, IE Madrid, Amsterdam University College, UC Utrecht and Bocconi, and the six pupils with offers from McGill in Canada.

This year, CLS pupils have applied to universities in the US, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and, of course, the UK!
