The new space features a significantly improved servery, a smoother queuing system, and an expanded selection of hot and cold meals served daily.

The transformation marks a major step forward in both efficiency and sustainability at CLS. Our dedicated catering team carefully curates the weekly menus with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility. Every dish is labeled with an icon indicating its carbon footprint, allowing pupils to make informed, eco-conscious choices about their meals.

Sustainability remains at the forefront of our approach, and we are proud of the ongoing collaboration between our caterers and the pupil-led Eco-Schools committee. Together, they regularly review ways to reduce food waste, source low-carbon-impact ingredients, and introduce further initiatives to ensure our lunches are not only delicious but also among the most sustainably produced of any school in the country.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all pupils and staff for their patience and support throughout the building process. The journey has been well worth it, and we are thrilled to see the new dining hall in action—providing not just nourishment, but a space that fosters community for years to come.
