From a spinach & feta frittata to a one-pot spaghetti dish, they have been learning how to cook simple dishes that they can easily make at university, that only require one pan and limited utensils.
This week, the group were treated to a special guest by way of CLS Alumnus and Michelin star chef, Andrew Wong (Class of 2000). His restaurant, A. Wong, is a multi-award winning restaurant, where Andrew and his team serve dishes celebrating his chinese heritage.
Pupils received an expert chopping masterclass in how to prepare vegetables in a quick, easy (and safe!) way during his in-depth demonstration of a simple stir-fry dish. He was then on hand while the pupils made their own version which they were delighted to be able to eat for their lunch.
Thank you to Andrew for a fantastic class!
