This year, we launched the first SPARC project (Science Partnerships and Research Collaborations) across the City Family of Schools. Pupils were guided in inter-school pupil groups to conduct original research projects.
Leveraging their academic expertise, PhD mentors developed pupils’ skills in experimental design, data analysis, scientific communication and more. City SPARC provides invaluable hands-on experience preparing pupils for STEM degrees and careers.
Last week, we celebrated last year’s cohort and launched this year with 80+ pupils from CLS, City of London School For Girls, Highgate Hill, Shoreditch Park, Freemen’s and City academy Hackney all participating.
